While the Wisconsin Badgers ended up losing the game to Michigan State, it wasn't for a lack of production by their star wide receiver.
Lee Evans had a signature game against the Spartans on October 27, 2001, when he caught nine passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns, all three of which were at the time career-highs for Evans.
Two years later, Evans would torch Michigan State again, this time in a win, by hauling in career-highs in catches (10), yards (258), and touchdowns (five).
