After getting an interception in the season opener, Faion Hicks is ready for more as the Wisconsin Badgers get set to take on New Mexico on Saturday.
With all the new faces in the secondary, fans are still getting to know who's back there, but the elder statesman of the group, D'Cota Dixon, describes the younger defensive backs as fast and aggressive. Hicks says that his first time out of the tunnel was nerve-wracking at first but a weight off his shoulders since it was his first real action since high school.
Hicks is optimistic that the Badgers will continue to grow and get better week by week. With New Mexico on tap, Hicks welcomes the opportunity to face a team that throws the ball a bit more.
