Alex Hornibrook said after the game that the Badgers will take this loss well, and use it as motivation to improve ahead of their Big Ten opener against Iowa. Despite the difficult loss, Wisconsin still has plenty to play for. "The game is over," Hornibrook told the Badger Sports Network. "There's nothing you can do about it. We're past it."
He added that they'll learn from the game, and look at it on film, but the focus is now on Iowa.
Hornibrook finished 18 of 28 passing for 190 yards and an interception.
Wisconsin will open up conference play with a fresh 0-0 record in the Big Ten with a night game against Iowa next Saturday.
