Redshirt freshman forward Taylor Currie will become the second member of the 2018 Wisconsin men's basketball recruiting class to transfer from the Badgers. Tai Strickland left the program earlier this offseason and will ply his trade at Temple.
Jim Polzin of the Wisconsin State Journal reported the story on Tuesday afternoon that Currie would return home to Michigan for the 2019-2020 season:
Currie, who attended high school in Clarkston, Michigan, is returning to that state. He’ll play next season at Mott Community College in Flint, a program that has won four National Junior College Athletic Association Division 2 national titles under coach Steve Schmidt. - Jim Polzin (Click Here)
Joe Hedstrom is the last man standing from the 2018 recruiting class. Hedstrom redshirted last year for the Badgers.
Wisconsin is reportedly still in the running for the services of Sam and Joey Hauser, who are transferring from Marquette. Wherever the Hausers end up, they will have to sit out for one season.
