Wisconsin's defense had a big opening week

Wisconsin's defense allowed just 157 yards and zero points to USF in their season-opening win, and notched a defensive return for a score to boot. Coach Paul Chryst recaps the season-opening victory.

The 49-0 score was UW’s most lopsided road shutout since beating Northwestern, 49-0, on Oct. 1, 1983. The Badgers defense limited South Florida to just 157 total yards, UW’s lowest total since holding Minnesota to 133 yards in 2017. Wisconsin also held the Bulls to a mere 26 yards, the Badgers lowest defensive total since containing Iowa to 25 yards on Nov. 11, 2017.

Chryst joins Brian Posick to talk about the win.
