Dave Coulier is cancer-free!
The "Full House" star, who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2024, recently opened up about his health, revealing that he officially beat cancer.
"I'd like to give a heartfelt thank you to family, friends, and fans for their continued prayers, love, and support throughout my emotional roller coaster ride through cancer," he remarked in a statement obtained by Good Morning America.
"I will continue to encourage others to check in with doctors to get early screenings like breast exams, colonoscopies, and prostate exams."
Coulier, who endured six rounds of chemotherapy, is not only encouraging others to get checked for cancer but plans to release an all-natural line of "sustainable clothing, foods, and personal hygiene products" later this year.
John Stamos, one of the actor's closest friends and "brothers" who starred alongside him as Uncle Jesse in the beloved 80s sitcom, was a key supporter in Coulier's cancer battle. When Coulier found out that he beat cancer, he called Stamos, who recorded the entire FaceTime call and shared it on Instagram.
Speaking of his "Full House" family, Coulier, who played Uncle Joey, revealed that the cast, including Candice Cameron Bure, who played his niece, D.J, continues to check in with each other, and it's that love that helped him beat cancer.
"I think positivity has fueled me through this...and a lot of love. My 'Full House' family is so beautiful. We check in with each other and we truly love each other and care about each other. John Stamos flew here, and you know, we lost our brother Bob Saget and went through that together and I think it actually brought us a lot closer," he told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday (April 1).
