Influencer Paola Caldera Dead At 30

Influencer Paola Caldera, who documented he lengthy battle with cancer, died at the age of 30 last week after contracting pneumonia, the Sun reports.

Caldera, a refugee from Venezuela and a mother of two, documented her battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on TikTok since mid-2024 and a post shared by her account confirmed her death last week.

"Today we bid farewell to a being who illuminated our lives with his strength, his love and his wisdom, even in the most difficult moments," the translated caption states. "Leukemia may have contained his physical presence, but never the mark he left on our hearts. We are left with his example of courage, his infinite goodness and the memories that will always accompany us. Rest in peace, such a Caldera your light will continue to shine in each of us."

Caldera's family announced they will livestream her funeral on her TikTok account on October 2 and October 3 so her followers can join virtually, while also asking for donations through Zelle to pay for the estimated funeral costs exceeding $15,000. The influencer fled Venezuela and applied for political asylum in the United States, advising others on how to achieve the American Dream through her social media accounts.

Caldera claimed her job cleaning hotels in the United States paid more than working as a dentist in Venezuela. The influencer's death came weeks after fellow TikToker Natasha Allen died after a five-year battle with stage four synovial sarcoma.
